For those who are waiting for more reviews before ordering Prohibition, there will be reviews in the February issues of Genii, MAgic Circular and I think Magic Magazine.
It is selling out everywhere and we have not decided to reorder so get it now. We might possibly offer it as a downloadable file in the future.

| If there is that much demand as is claimed, why would any one want to stop the supply????? This message of mine has nothing to do with the effect, but being a financial analyst the last statement of Mr.Jeff has put this question in my mind.........

I've had a few conversations with Jeff before the actual release of this paticualr effect, he's a incredibly kind gentlemen very infromative and had me sold right away!
The products of Charlie Justice, Jeff Pierce at Magic and Blacks Magic Group are superb in quality, very well thought-out and audience tested.
The effect:
I like how the top is sealed, visually the cap is in your hand and then suddenly into the bottle. The best part are your conditions, being your hand clearly empty at that exact moment is in my opinion utterly amazing. Also, I think you'll like the version where you end-up pulling the cap out of the bottle while your spectator holds his thumb over the top as you perform this bottle/penetration miracle.
I give my whole-hearted recommendation for this product, it's a must have gentlemen.

Thanks to Castle for the kind words.
For those who have purchased Prohibition by Charlie Justice, there is a private discussion group that you can join for new ideas using the Cap Trap effect.
If you have the DVD, go to the contact info page for Blacks Magic and get the second word of the second paragraph. This will be the password to log into the discussion group.
So go to http://www.blacksmagicgroup.com/forum/ and sign on, there's already a couple of very cool ideas.
Thanks

I just finished reading the review of this in the August issue of MAGIC magazine. The review was not entirely favorable. On the plus side they say it looks good, has high production values, and is well taught. But Brad Henderson (the reviewer) points out several issues he has with it. His feeling is the hype on this is misleading. Totally impromptu? It isn't, you must have a certain something on you that you would not normally have readily available or could make on the fly. Also, he points out that you can only do this with a bent bottle cap that you must first put in the top of the bottle only to take it right out. To me, that takes something away. Part of the magic of a Cap to Bottle effect is that there is no way you could get a cap in a bottle..unless you bend the cap to fit in. Also the "Cap Trap" move is not new, having been seen in Life Savers. Only thing different is the direction of the move. Finally, you don't end clean as the ad would have you believe. They show you how to ditch a certain something at the end. If you need to ditch something, that is not ending clean.
Overall, Henderson states that there is really nothing new here, the method having seen print before. And the one thing that is different, namely having to do it with a bent cap, is a step backward from the Michael Weber original effect.
I don't do this effect at all, so I don't know what to think, just thought it seemed pertinent to this discussion.

GL,
Henderson was the only reviewer to be negative, and when he was called out on it, he decided to keep quiet. If you have not seen Prohibition, you are missing out.
