If like me you have been mentally inventing derogatory captions for the picture of David Blaine that has graced our homepage for several months then you will be pleased to know that we are updating the magic news. To do this we need your help.
If you come across a magic news story or article online that you think should be brought to the attention of MVD members please send the link to Andrew (Site Admin) so that the story can be headlined on the homepage. Together we should all be able to sniff out some interesting stories. We want to keep the homepage fresh and interesting as you have requested so will always be interested to hear from anyone who has found some interesting news or magic related articles.
ALSO, Dominique (Dondoke) has made a brilliant suggestion which Andrew is keen to implement. Dom thought it would be good to utilise the talents of some members who would like to write some interesting articles for MVD. We would particularly like to hear from anyone who can write an interesting article about magic from their own perspective. You may be a working professional who has an interesting story to tell, someone who has been to a magic competition or convention and wishes to share your experiences with others, or just simply to share their thoughts on magic. All that we ask is that the articles should be in depth, well written and of course magic related, in other words QUALITY . Excerpts from these articles will be featured on the homepage, so if you want to be in the headlines then start writing now.
If you would like to do this then all you need to do is first post your article in the forum, then send a link to the post to Andrew (Site Admin) He will review your article and if he feels it will be of interest will place an excerpt on the homepage and a link to the full article in the forum.

I like what you already did on the homepage with the magic news. Much better layout, very easy on the eye. Good job, keep up the good work.

 Love it !!!!! Love it!!!!! Now I don;t have to go around I look for hours finding the most recent posts THANK YOU MARTY. Now that I will be getting into the holiday seasons I will not be able to do that any more.

Perhaps let me fill you in senior dom, the effect looked like a poor version of the asher twist maybe he took it down because I commented as such, I only say this because shortly after my comment was posted it was taken down, if that is the case maybe I should have lied and said it looked great, ?when it did not?
