Hello MVD members! We have been thinking of some new features and would like your feedback. Please take a moment to comment on the following ideas:
1. Points. Everything you do on MVD earns you points that you could use to get MVD gear (decks, mugs, shirts, etc).
2. Video Reviews. A new channel just for reviews. Rather than writing an article to review an item, make a video instead.
3. Jam sessions. Scheduled chatroom/IM times for everyone to get together and talk about magic and help each other in real time.
Please post some feedback so we can further develope these ideas.

Credit points will certainly be a nice aspect for issue rewards. Does this include ratings and view counts?
The idea of a channel review is cool, but in general I'd like to see more alternative channels.

A member search function would be nice. One that includes country of origin, age, number of videos posted, etc.

I believe Faher has a very good idea to increase membership participation in his competition post. It brings me to think of another website for magicians that have monthly competitions of proving the impossible possible challange. I know its a little copycat, but here is the premise, they would give an effect that you wish to complete, the rules that go with the competition for example no stooges or forced cards for a particular effect. And the members would go about trying to solve this in their best magical ways. The winner would be given some sort of prize, here though perhaps thte winner could be given an Impossible Challenge Trophy or recognition for the contest that would be monthly or twice monthly. Anyway just a thought to expand on Faher's idea. I know for myself I would love to see the creativity that members would come up with to solve a particular magical effect.

I don't know if its possible a I feel a chat room of some sort would be great.
I don't use MSN or Yayhoo and I'm sure I'm not the only one...lol but maybe in the chat there could be different rooms we could go and chat.
At least it would get us to know each other better which in return might make the fourms start hopping again.
Also might I suggest bring the recent fourm post to the top of the site rather then the bottom. I know it sounds silly but I think people are not going that far done to see whats there.
Its just like a bussiness location location location is everything.

Wow !!!!
I have just changed my ISP and can now log into MVD once again.
I never got to see the new set up until just now.
It is amazing - congratulations to all concerned.
