I don't know why but I feel we don't need to put up vids with people without shirts, it makes the site look......well......cheap. We are soppose to be different then youtube and other sites. Please for now on if your going to do a vid keep your cloths on.

I just made a smartass comment in the video and left it at that Tim. There are rules that we must enforce actively (such as profanity, explicit sexuality or other censorship issues, for example). Other rules are better served by social convention rather than legislation.
Not wearing a shirt violates no law. I don't think we should prevent the uploader from uploading said video. This being said, if it makes you uncomfortable, you should express it as you have just done. If it makes enough people uncomfortable, the author will remove the video himself. And he will have learn much more than if we had stopped his video in the first place.

| So I guess you are talking about my video? I don't see what all the fuss is about! I was not nude and there was no profanity, explicit sexuality or other other such stuff. Have you guys ever been to a beach or swiming pool?

Discoman, if you read my post carefully, you will see that is exactly what I am saying. As far as I am concerned, I see no reason why you should remove your video unless a large number of members express discomfort towards it.
This being said, it's not clear to me why you didn't just put a shirt on, this isn't a beach party or a swimming pool.

I'm not uncomfortable about the vid, I just don't feel this is the place for it. There is no reason for you to have no shrit on. I know we are not professional magicians on the most part but that doesn't mean we can't conduct ourselfs like one. Thats all.
Would you do a lecture with no shirt on ????? I really don't think so.

No I guess the guy should be free to have his video uploaded here, just as long as the members are free to pound him without mercy for doing so. Democracy in action!
I don't really want to see you without your shirt on, so if you are going to upload that, I hope that skin you're showing is thick when the comments start coming. Who exactly are you going shirtless for, all the women that come here?

| Ok, So give me a day or two and I may upload a few new clips for you guys again...... lol. Like I have said in a few private messages to people, I'm not a pro magician! I just happen to have friends who enjoy film making and I'm always the one being silly with a few tricks up my sleeve. I'm not out to be the best or anything and I do what I do for fun. This whole shirt thing is just plain silly. I didn't put a shirt on because it was a hot day and we were all just chilling and having a beer or two. The video was just 60 seconds of my life and no big deal.

| Gotta agree with Tim. I like this site because it's like hanging out with professional mature magicians with good clean routines to share. Keep it professional. Just my two cents.

The only real problem is when someone walk passed my screen and see a shirtless guy's chest on video and instantly remark "magic video eh?".
