Hi Chris,
If the PM system doesn't work then I won't try until it does. If the owner dosn't care if his site works properly then I don't care to try to get this site working again.
Its been this way for a long time now, He had more then enough time to fix or beaware of it.
To the next site I go.

Fixing the PM system and getting the search function up and running (among many other problems to be fixed) are all things that have been brought to the attention of those who can effect those changes...numerous times.
Unfortunately, my advice to all is not to hold your breath.

Hey everyone.
I got a wild hair tonight and Googled myself and came across a post I made here on MVD many moons ago. SO I decided to stop by and see how things have been going.
I have been busy with life, and haven't had time for Magic in years.... big box... lots of dust. For those of you who were close to me back in the day... you know by profession I work in the Automotive industry. And if you have watched any news in the past 3-4 years... well you know how that is going. lol I have been pulling 12-14 hour days....
Anyway, I have to say I am honored reading the recent posts that mention me. This was a great community for me when I was active then... I remember how things before I was an admin and it was just Dell running the show, and he had a kid named Andrew moderating (Different than current Andrew). So much happened back then.... and well I learned a ton. Little battles with a kid I cant even remember his name anymore.... funny times.
So it saddens me to see what has become of MVD.... I wish I had the resilience back in the day to stick around... I was driven away by some of the membership that were impossible to deal with, and were ruining Magic for me.... and I needed a break.
I feel horrible that it has become what it has.... MVD used to be one of like three hot spots for Magic discussion... and well now... it is not. So it kind of chokes me up to see.
Anyway, if anybody wants to keep in touch with me... facebook.com/martyf81 is where I am at. Just tell me you are from MVD when you send the friend request.
I will check back later and see whats up too.

Thanks for the update Marty. I haven't heard from you in quite a while, and am glad to hear things are going okay (other than the long workdays, though long work days are better than no workdays).
