Come on give me a break, reread those comments I did not push your thought to the side I thanked you gave a quick reason why. So since I didn't want to get into a indepth conversation about theroy I'm the Jurk.
nice
Tim
I was not talking about theory. I gave you tips on what I think could make your routines better without mentioning any theory. You responded your routines 'work for you', indicating you are not looking to change anything. That is what put me off. I would rather have people make that clear from the start, like a note with the video. Saves me the time and effort.
Since you seem to put theory in a negative light here, just for everyone's info... no one less than Juan Tamariz and Darwin Ortiz have actually written books on theory. And I would also like to mention Al Schneider, the inventor of Matrix, a routine that most of us perform... if theory is a nono, those routines would probably not be out there. I do not think I personally have had in depth discussions on theory here on MVD, but I would very much enjoy that actually.

Gaaaah.
This is not really a productive track, so I am going to jump the rails.
While my time has become more restricted, I am going to make a more vigilant attempt to reach out to other active members of the forums. I have already posted a couple comment on recent videos. I use to think being active in the forums was enough, but now I see I was mistaken.
Cosmicplay is correct in saying it takes time to provide meaning suggestions. Clearly if the person you give them to responds in a fashion not to your liking you have every reason in the world not to provide further comments on their work. Anything past that is probably not productive.
I have had the luxury of positive feedback from all of the members whose videos I have commented on. Regardless of what the recipient does with my comments, it has been rewarding to have them acknowledged.
As it stands I am going to concentrate on the people who responded to the Prima Donna experiment. I have also included a couple new comers to the site as they have been most cordial to me.
While we don't all have to agree on "the right" way to do things, I think it is clear that some of the people posting videos are begging for insight. I don't know if I'm "right," but I know I can at least give my opinion.
Best,
T
