Hi MVD mates, now if you love Magic you must love Lego too!
Below is a link to a new minifigure just on the market and it is a must have for any magician out there.

Hey Mister Lego, I was looking at these earlier, I like the look of the zombie
Seems they are being sold in sealed packs so you can't see which one you are getting, clever marketing ploy from Lego. Also, each figure will only be available for a limited time so there could be a rarity value to a collector in the future
If you want to be sure you get a magician or any specific figure then here's a .pdf of barcodes to print off so you can take it with you to the shop, you can check the codes by eye or if you have an iPhone with the Red laser app you can scan them.

Top link Sponge I love the fact that you can see series 2 in the PDF. Until you gave me the bar codes I was going to feel the pack and if I can feel a top hat then I know I have him. Plus an Afro for the clown and the magician will need a cheer leader assistant too.
All you need is a Lego MJ and you can recreate thriller with your Zombies Sponge.
Lego and magic rule!

I hope the barcodes work for you, Brett, they are European ones and I'm unsure if they will be different in Oz.
Good luck finding the cheerleader, not sure how you would find her by feel though...

Cool news I found a Toy story here in OZ that sells the Lego Minifigures. Problem is you can’t feel through the packet well enough to be sure of your purchase. I had a feel and brought what I thought may be the Magician but you could not be totally sure.
Out side the shop I tried to open the sealed pack but to no avail. You need scissors!
Got home very excited and hay presto, what a fantastic day.
Sponge was kind enough to put up bar codes for the figures but unfortunately these do not match the Oz ones. So here is a pick of the bar code we all need to look out for in the land of OZ. (If you would like to get the Magician)

Top link Sponge, here is my attempt at a Mini Lego Video.

I have also picked up another Magician Lego Mini figure and was thinking of putting it up as a MVD video contest prize.
Would you like to organise one with me mate, you can be the judge?

Here's my attempt. Not many photos on my computer but this stars Plant Man (from a photo of a plant in a pot by my door), Li'l Sis Man (a photo that didn't make her passport) and Ele Man (from my desktop wallpaper)

An MVD video contest sounds like a top idea mate, you'll need to clear it with Andrew first. Have you got a theme in mind?

Nice Vid mate I love Ele man he looks very cool.
With the theme I was thinking any magic video that has a Lego mini figure intro the act would qualify for the comp.
At the end of August 2010 the one best one (deemed by you) wins the Magician Mini Figure!
I just post it out from OZ to the winner, hell I will even throw in a Tall Ted imposible cut illusion and pilot episode of his new TV show.
