Kyle, the balducci is far too common in the US for my liking. It is a great effect which has been vastly exposed. King's Rising is ok, but it is a bit to angley. Peace.

sure you -can- do it without being caught...you just have to be uber-mindful of your angles...

-would- I personally perform that method on the street? probably not. i just don't feel it's reliable enough to pull off, except as like a tease in patter to really misdirect the audience, and then whip out a different method.

long story short, in my opinion there are far more reliable levitations to perform in public, if you decide to perform them at all.
