Hi guys,
I have seen the video demo of Eric's Effect 'RPD' bill penetration and it looks quite nice. I just wondered if anyone has purchased the effect yet, and if it's any good?
I was in Davenports magic shop in London the other day and I saw an effect that looked absolutely identical to this. The same moves and everything. I'm just a bit sceptical of it's origianlity. But please if you are able, you can try and convince me otherwise.
Many Thanks
Jonty

Hello magicjonty1,
Thanks for taking notice in my work, I appreciate this. I just want to make clear that I haven't stole anyones ideas and the originality-factor is key with any effect in which I produce. Also, bare in mind that everything or most things are in fact inspired from something-else. The other important point to keep in mind is there really are many effects on the magic market which may appear similar and you'll later find-out they are entirely different in method all together. I think you'll really enjoy RPD and the subtleties, it's very easy and fun to perform. But don't take my word for it, purchase-it and you'll soon find-out my friend.
Respectfully,
-Erick

As John has said, I purchased RPD and I would go as far to say that it is the best bill penetration out on the market for a few simple reasons. Everything can be examined before and after the effect. It is nearly and it is very easy to make impromptu. It is visual, and they are able to hear the paper rip. Finally, if you are the kind of guy that enjoys melt through effects, this is great. No bulky and expensive gimmicks needed.
Hope this helps.
Peace.

| and to correct crissangelfreak I wouldnt this to be misleading but let me quote "and it is very easy to make impromptu" to the contrary you cant make it impromptu.

| Kyle, I have found a way to make it impromptu, although it takes away power from the effect, I should and meant to say basically impromptu, which it is. The setup takes two seconds.

| ok we just discussed this it is impromptu but it basically gives away the secret of the effect and I suggest you don't do it.

magcjonty: For value for money you can't beat RPD.
The subtelties Erick teaches are what really makes this trick work. With other penetration effects there are a few unnecessary movements because of the 'materials' used (purposely vague to prevent exposure of other methods). RPD eliminates those movements so that it looks exactly the way it should if you fold a bill, put a pencil inside it and push it straight through.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Paul
