Hey man
The Muscle Pass Starring Jay Noblezada DVD
I do not own this DVD as I learnt the muscle pass from another source years ago ,but from the looks of it, There are some very interesting effects taught as well.

| well i was just talking to a guy today about the muscle pass and he told me not to buy jay's dvd because if you watch it he moves his bottom hand when he shoots the coin up which you are not suppose to because it looks like you are tossing the coin instead of shooting the coin

| the basic principle should be the same. Regardless if he moves his hand. Ive watched coin dvds that only spend 2 minutes on the muscle pass. Which is not enough. Even i dont own jays dvd im sure it wont dissapoint

As an alternative, you could seek out volume one of Michael Ammar's "Classic Renditions" DVDs. It has John Cornelius himself teaching the proper way to do a muscle pass.
There is great attention to detail, a mention of how to avoid looking like you are throwing the coin upward, and HIS idea of how to pop a coin through a solid piece of glass. Not only that, but you will get the work on how he does his (excellent) retention of vision vanish.

| It's a cool move, but are there any good routines that use this move? So far I have only seen magicians demonstrate it.

I've seen it used in matrix routines (as an actual pass, not out in the open), but in my opinion it is too angly.

I've seen it used in many 3 fly coin routines um a lot of shoot ogawa's routines use the muscle pass and Justin millers silver dream you can use it in one of the variations

| I enjoy just doing it for no reason. Just something to do with a coin when I'm bored. I sometimes find myself trying to muscle pass with other random objects. Last edited on 09-09-2007 04:42 by Grey_Pomello

Ian Kendall has a great tutorial on the muscle pass on his Virtual Sessions Year One CD rom set. Don't worry it's not just audio it's just it only plays on a computer!!!
I have been doing it for about 2 months now and can get some good height, especially with a chinese palming coin, I would recommend trying with a coin of your own currency cause then you can borrow the coin (always a huge benefit!)

first off i would like to say Noblezada's DVD is great its worth the money ...yes he moves his bottom hand "passing hand" up a bit but this gives the coin a much greater height than if you were to toss it from hand to hand
however i would recommend getting the ammar dvd because hey...if you can learn it from the man himself "cornelius" why not lol
but jays dvd teaches it and some nice routines with it and he teaches it well in my oppinion
even has a supplement in the bonus section of him learning it in his left hand day by day on video so you see the progress
thanks for reading this
