i need some tips for shimming something thats transparent. I have tried small shims in the hope they wont be seen. this doesnt work. I have tried the ends off small nails, small ball bearings, and cut off bits of staples. Mabey theres some other way? Some kind of ink or transparent magnet? suggestions are appreciated

How close does it need to be seen? If it is going to be attracted to a fair size Nd m*****, then it sould not take much. By the way, I don't think there is any f****m******* materials that are transparent.

PS: I have an idea and will be going in to my workplace tomorrow for a couple of things, so I can check it out. I'll let you know if it comes to fruition.
