although their comments were on the negative side, the criticisms
still holds weight. there's always room for improvement, and you
should always be striving to learn something to improve

i really liked the performance... great reactions! A couple tiny
suggestions though, when showing the deck and the face down card at
the end, make sure that you show all the cards after the face down one
to prove that it was indeed the only face down card, it will also
prevent spectators from grabbing the deck from you and that's
bad.

Also try to move the deck around from person to person as you are
going through it, it will prevent people from noticing anything weird
about the deck. sorry if this isn't clear, pm me if you have any
questions

Good presentation...
Great reaction...

There's one thing I noticed... Instead of turning the selected
card over myself... I like to let them take the (visible) card out
themselves... People naturally tend to build up suspense on their
own... they're not sure if they beleive you... they're
afraid to turn the card over... So they do part of your job for you...
When you have a group of spectators like you had... It gives you a
lot of misdirection to prepare your next miracle or to switch your
deck, bury the evidence or something else...

So try it that way... Let the spectator take the card out before
turning it over... And if you feel your spectator is gonna do
something wrong like throwing the card on the floor where beer was
spilled and no one cleaned up... (happened to me)... Than you can
still build more suspense after taking the card out instead of
revealling the card out immediatly...

Those two negative comments are no doubt a couple of guys who over do
every trick they know, thinking a bunch of magicians are watching
every move they make. Your performance was exellent and obviously very
entertaining to the average lay person. Dont change a thing. PERFECT!!

Dont listen to the last two comments. Those comments are only true if
your audience is full of magicians. However, thats not the case. The
only thing to be said here is that you entertained and impressed those
around you with a very nice performance of the invisible deck. This is
something they will be talking about for years to come. I applaud you!
The suspence at that table was so great that those people almost come
out of their skin. Great work - you went straight to the card without
flashing any others. As Aramis stated - the reactions say it all.

your patter needs work. Its teh standard patter that has been used for
decades, and whilst its great, its not personal enough.
also, you clap and clasp your hands together a lot. Why not use this
as an oportunity to load teh deck into your hand, so you can make the
deck Visible, visibly!

terrible, what a bad handling. you hold the cards like someone who has
something to hide. and why are you rubbing your hands before taking
out the cards from the box. the hand-rubbing implicates that the work
begins now- but, think about it, in the minds of the spectators the
card is already turned face down. and choose a better line then
"...what was your card?"
what is the phenomenom of this routine?
