I searched this up again because it was so beautiful.
The music is superb too.
Magic can really be something emotional.

I thought the name explained what to expect, sort of. I mean, when I
see the number 69, I always think of...a six spot and a 9 spot card.
Very fluid!

I agree with sponge and aramis. Could definetly use some patter. But
the moves looked very nice.

Although Dan and Dave have skills, I just don't think that The
Trilogy has practical material in it. This being an example.

Jamz, I'm with Stranger_M here. I thought it was a 4 card
flourish too. I still can't see the magic effect after several
viewings so more contrasting faces and a little patter would help it
out I think. Nicely handled.

Why do the 6s change into 9s? that's almost the weakest
transformation you could have. It's like taking a red ball and
transforming into into... A SMALLER red ball! Patter would also be
nice once in a while. Good effort, thanks for the upload.

"As Im sure you have noticed the 2 sixes are shown twice to
create the illusion of 4"

After I realized that the six of clubs changed to the nine of clubs
then.. yes.. I thought that you are maybe doing this. So I watched the
routine very carefully (even stopped the video sometimes) and then
began to see what you are doing. The thing is the way HOW you are
showing the 2 sixes as 4. It's just too confusing (because of the
card spins) and most of the time we just see the six of clubs. The red
six is barely shown. I know why you don't want to show it so long
but when I watched it the first few times I couldn't even tell if
this was also a six or not.
Also instead of sixes and nines I think it would be better to do this
with face cards and aces because the contrast is much more visible.
But personally..I would just do some DLs or some other false displays
because I think this flourishly-style presentation is somewhat
confusing and distracts from the overall effect.

And yes.. Patter is a good idea. :)

Hey Strange M

I personally love this effect , and if you were to get rid of the
count you would destroy the flow of the effect , This effect is well
thought out and if done right will serve you well.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts

Hey Guys

This is a strange effect , I will break down what you are ment to see.

First I display 4 cards , I then move the cards around showing 4
sixes. After this I spin the sixes and they turn into 4 Nines.

As Im sure you have noticed the 2 sixes are shown twice, to create the
illusion of 4.

This effect works on the glimpes priciple , if you notice you see the
faces of the first 2 sixes for a longered period of time. The second
two are only shown for a split second, only enough time to take in the
colour of each card. So they see (Six of clubs , six of hearts ,
black , red ). so they assume they have seen the other 2 , sixes
because of the colours they have seen.

I think the reason you guys are getting confused ,is because you are
paying to much attention to the faces of the cards. Unlike a spectator
who wouldnt be quite as sharp and wouldnt be able to re watch it over
and over.I have performed this effect hundreds of time and I have
never been called on it.

I may re upload this effect , with patter.

Hope this helps,

All The Best,

Jamz

OK, after I watched it a few more times I realized that the six of
clubs changed to the nine of clubs. I think the reason why I
didn't realized it the first time was because I got too confused
about the card spins and about the fact that there wasn't any
patter that would tell us to "watch the six of clubs".
But still.. I'm not sure about the other cards..because they were
barely shown. Ok, I saw a red six, too. Now I can only guess that the
effect here is the change of four sixes to four nines, but you
didn't really convey it through your video performance..
So my advice is: Make the effect more clear through patter and through
a less confusing handling.
Please don't misunderstand me. I don't want to put you down.
I just want you to know that the effect wasn't clear because of
the things I mentioned above. So, just work on it and it will be fine.
:)
