Here is my almighty idea to make this routine great. Call it the great
lemon trick. Produce the ball, wondering, because it is no lemon.
putting the ball away, again trying to do the lemon trick. But this
time two balls appear, then a third ball. And as if you have an
awesome idea: "Okay, let's pretend that one of the balls is a lemon"
then you go on with the routine and in the end you turn the "lemon"
into a lemon. Going full circle. yeah

I would work on the patter some. But the handling was good. I think
you have something there.

Hey Aramis, a neat little routine in the making here. I agree with
others about the pace but I'm sure you can easily fix that. The moves
all looked good. I REALLY liked the name Ball Number Three, that's
full of potential and made me laugh, I hope you keep that in. One
question, does your jacket have pockets? If so then maybe it would
have looked tidier to use them rather than your trouser pockets, or
maybe there's a reason why you didn't. If not then you could send me
the jacket, I've been looking around for one like that.

it's more or less an arbitrary personal rule of pocket management. I
usually have 1 sponge ball routine and 1 cups and balls routine, The
sponge balls are in the pants pocket because that way the jacket
covers the "bulge" (oh shut up)... Whereas the jacket pocket has
special dividers which are perfect for my cups and balls intro. In
the context of this video, it doesn't really change all that much, but
since you yourself said "It looks tidier from the jacket pockets",
well Aramis isn't tidy. So I think i'm going to stick with the pants
unless you bring up something else I hadn't considered. Thanks

The only thing I would work on would be the pace

Thanks Tim, I sorta threw a few moves together, put some scotch tape
here and there and called it a routine, then hit record. I guess I
wanted to be evaluated by my peers without doing one of my routines or
bringing shame onto someone else's. Slow pacing on videos is
definitely a problem for me that I need to improve. Thanks for your
help!

It looked good Aramis. I do agree with spadsey however about picking
up the pace and adding some energy. But I really enjoyed it. Nice
job!!!

thanks will! I am more or less ad libbing the patter, which I think
doesn't help an already slowish pacing here. Thanks for your opinion.

Firstly, the routine, technicalities and presentation is really good.
Much enjoyed.

I will helpfully say, though, that it's a
shame you degrade yourself with terming it as B grade material. Also I
suggest picking up the pace, rhythm and excitement a little.

Thank you for your advice!
I suppose you're right. It's not fair
to the routine to refer to it as B material. I guess I was a bit self
conscious because this isn't really too "ironed out".

Description: I was more or less jazzing along and I
thought "hey, this seems like a
pretty good structure", you've got
a variety of effects, (productions,
vanishes, trans locations) which flow
organically one into the other, and
stuff! It's not TOO hard on the angles,
and it ends with a classic. It's
certainly not "A material",
but y'know... between us mugicians,
whatta ya think?
