Don't drink the water, my cat would love to drink that water. He loves
dove water. Naughty cat! That's why I make him wear a bell.

Very nice, but be a bit more careful when you're changing the color of
the water, a couple times your hands looked kinda fishy (no pun
intended). Outside of that the presentation was perfect.

we were having some issues at that point, water temp was a factor, and
it was taking a bit longer for the change to take place, so it was
probably a moment where a person freaks out, and wonders ........ what
the heck to do with my hands,,,LOL. Good pun my friend...... Thanks
for the comment.

Lawrens,... this contest was for live performance of Magic. It is an
honor to have recieved the 2nd place, there are so many great artist
such as yourself, that I would have placed above or beside me. I see
lots of great routines and acts on MVD all are deserving of this
honor. So as a first time video poster to MVD. I am honored, The first
place winner recieves a unique DVD from Eugene Burger. All Videos
posted during the last month were automacillay put into the contest.
This is one that I would have been honored to see you place in,
especially with your artistic approach with the linking Rings. But as
I say, there were so many that should have gotten this honor. Thank
you my friend for your congrats.

Now thats different.I very much liked the routining from one effect to
another. The transformation of the sands to the silk streamer, is a
great use for a variation on a relativly under used prop.
/>

and i should say, your lady is clearly a great asset to
the act. Always there when she has to be, always gone when shes
not.

Good assistants are worth their weight in gold arn't
they.

Hey Dale, good to see you over here on this Video, Thanks for the
comment, and we are glad to hear you like this version. Appreciate you
noticing routining of various effects( Those things can be tough to
work on and make happen.. from idea- to actually working.... (as you
know)Did I type that right...LOL hope you understand that Babble.LOL.
My wife audrey has always been there, and it is tough to work with
your spouse...LOL I can be a bit tough on her during rehearsals. She
will pick on me when we watch the taped rehearsals, and I pick on her.
(dangerous) so when you find one that can fight back, i believe you
are right by saying they are worth their weight in gold.

Chris, your version of the Sands is one of the most fantastic I ever
saw...
I do this routine too since many years, but in its basic
form.
I've always lack the original idea which I could
include,
as you did !
The appearance of the silk stunned me
the first time I saw it, I had to watch again to completly taste (!)
your idea. If you don't mind, just a comment here : you could take
more time to fully registered the effect, maybe by applying an
applause posture, clue, or gesture, with a full 1-2-3 mental count
down...
I felt a little frustrated to have to go fast on the
effect...
Is this your creation?
Really brilliant !
As
you said, the sands are very demanding as for preparation, chemicals
and all...
It's possible to get from dark to clear much faster
than in your video, in which I think you experimented some problem at
this point...? ^^
I have an idea regarding this issue, I'll get
in touch with you...
The doves's production at the end ?
>
Genius!!!
Thanks!

Lawrens, You have been missed my friend, Glad to hear from you. Yes
... Taste! I am starting to get tongue tingling...LOL I love this
explanation of yours, I find it to be such a great way to explain what
we are looking for. I came up with the sand to silk transformation. It
was a tough one to work on. had to build the prop, to make it look
like a lot of sand, and make visual magic. I will explain more in our
personnel post. Yes... that day was a little touchy on the time it
took to clear.. room temp water is what I had, but Normal Tap water,
but that day it seemed to take forever to change back color. It is
tough to work that peice with timed music to hit for the dove
production, due to color change time issue, So I have to cue music as
water clears. that can be tough, but i Use remote Showtech for that,
watch right hand hit pocket to change music.....LOL Eager to hear your
fix for that. Man ,,,,,, glad to see you back. Lets Play Magic!!!!!!

Tyrone, this peice is called sands of egypt,or Sands of the dessertm
depends on who is marketing it, 2 variations of this illusion. It is a
standard, but we added in the Dove production at the end for a small
kicker, It was heck coming up with the method, but FINALLY got an idea
and thank goodness it worked. Thanks again for stopping in for the
view. I enjoyed the vid of yours with your Daughter, good job.
