About Me I've been doing card magic on and off for about 15 years. My first memorable experience of close up magic was when I visited the Philippines. My uncle did the match trick where you pull the head off the match. It was great…and I was hooked!
I've come to realize that as I get older, I think more about what I need to do as a performer to make my magic more entertaining and fun for people watching. I didn't understand that when I first started. I wish that I had this resource when I was growing up, as I'm sure most of us wish.
As a commenter on other people videos, I try to be as helpful as possible without making someone feel like they should give up. We all belong to this great community and I know everyone appreciates all the constructive criticism we give…I know I do.
I used to work for Murphy’s Magic Supplies which was a dream come true for me.
I am glad that I’ve joined this community. I’m drawing inspiration from everyone. I strive to be like some of our favorite magicians here on MVD.
- I strive to have Jennings story-telling ability.
- I strive to have the graceful pass that kammagic has.
- I strive to have the ability to create like Nechto (Ben)
- I strive to have the entertainment factor that Hayashi puts in all his performances.
- I strive to have my moves down perfect like Bucky.
- I strive to have the comedic timing of Roland.
- I strive to have the confidence that Pikk_a_kard has in doing magic in the face of danger...namely...THE BOSS!
- I strive to do ANYTHING with coins (feher, Hayashi)
I try to watch all the video done by these authors because I feel like they get it. They have that X-factor. If you watch these authors in action, you’ll see great routining, well rehearsed patter, and even some entertaining ad-libs. Truly a thing of beauty.
As you can see, I strive for a lot of things. I want to be better, so I try to watch every video I can so I know what to do and what not to do.
Alright…..enough of this love fest. On to the magic. Thanks to everyone for welcoming me! |
