Semi Pro close-up magician.
Like : Magicians who share, encourage and look for the best in others.We all need to aim higher and we all need help at some point. Just check out all the top professional who lecture. A great credit to them for sharing there art with us.
Dislike : Magicans who mock others who are not technically skilled or as gifted as they are. They seem to look for the worst in everyone else. Very negative. Only by being positive can we truely excel. I believe that these individuals are feeling threatened in someway or very insecure.
I may be wrong but thats how I feel.
My vids are performed the way I feel I can connect with my audience/participants and aimed for discussion to improve not just my performance,but others too.We all have different styles & skill levels so lets all listen to each other & learn.
As for favourite magicians, I have many favourite magicians, but recently, the most insperational, has been Paul Gordon, Gregory Wilson, Martin Sanderson, Nicholas Einhorn, Etien Pradier, Mark Mason, Jay Scott Berry & Jon Allen. I have had the pleasure of learning from there fantastic lectures of close up magic. There will of course be many more as we are always learning form the greatest.
Favourite DVD's have to be LIVE IN ACTION with Paul Gordon CORPORATE CLOSE-UP with Martin Sanderson. They have been shot in real world like weddings and corporate venues. A real credit to the new or want to be professional magician. |
